Auburn to dance into March

Two upcoming events in Auburn will make March a fun month for both boys and girls.

The hugely popular Daddy Daughter Princess Ball is returning for 2023, as is the Ladies & Lil’ Gents evening.

The Daddy Daughter Princess Ball gives fathers, brothers, uncles, and grandfathers the opportunity to spoil their daughters aged 3 to 13. Dancing and other age-appropriate activities are planned, and light refreshments will be served. Girls are encouraged to wear their prettiest party dresses and enjoy the fun. A party favor and Memory Photo are included in the ticket price.

The second event is the Ladies & Lil Gents, a “date night” for aunts, grandmothers, and mothers, and their boys. Everyone is encouraged to arrive dressed as their favorite sports celebrity, or wearing their team’s colors. Activities are planned, along with dancing and entertainment. Light refreshments will be served, and admission includes several surprises, along with a memory photo.

The Daddy Daughter Princess Ball is March 11. Girls from 3 to 6 years of age are invited to dance from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm, while girls from 7 to 13 years of age, can party from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

The Ladies & Lil Gents event is March 25, from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm. Both dances will be held at the Auburn Community and Event Center on Ninth Street SE. Pre-registration is required. When events like this are planned, organizers can decorate the venue using banner printing.
