Psychedelic bands to perform in Brattleboro

Two bands are coming from the opposite ends of the earth to perform in Brattleboro.

Dirty Sound Magnet is a Swiss band that have played more than 800 shows across Mexico, the UK, and Europe. The band comprises Stavros Dzodzos handling vocals and guitar, Maxime Cosandev on backing vocals and drums, and Marco Mottolini on bass and backing vocals. They were teenagers in Fribourg when they formed the band and making it in the music industry soon became their mission: they had no fallback position. Fortunately, the reception they have received indicates they made the right decision.

Critics say they are electrifying to see live, with their unpredictable, intense performances and the charisma of rock’s biggest stars. They are praised for their lyricism, their mastery of their instruments, and the energy they bring to the stage. They have been compared to classic rock groups like The Doors, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin with a dash of psychedelic magic like that of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard but have a firm identity of their own.

Their companions at The Stone Church are Gran Moreno, based in Austin. They are considered one of the most original groups coming out of psychedelic rock’s new wave. Critics enjoy their warm, textured work that combines atmosphere, grit, and groove.
Venues or organizers who book acts for special events or tours will often use poster printing services to encourage bookings.

The bands will be at The Stone Church here in Brattleboro on September 10.
