A popular annual event is coming up in Brattleboro.
The Downtown Brattleboro Alliance is hosting the upcoming 9th annual Bratt Luck Crawl, previously known as the Bratt Luv Crawl. The event takes participants through the shops in Brattleboro, where each shop will have tastes for people to sample. The tastes depend on the shops participating, and the list includes cheesemakers, confectioners, chocolatiers, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and more. Every stop will also have a non-alcoholic option available.
The crawl is timed, giving participants two hours to go from shop to shop and collect a stamp at each. Anyone who buys three items at any of the participating stores should bring the receipts to 57 Elliot Street, which is the event check-in, or post a photo of the receipts and tag them @downtownbratelboro and the shop. They will be entered in the contest for the Downtown Brattleboro Prize Pack, which is valued at $250.
Participants need to buy a ticket, which can be done online or in person, then check in at the DBA Office, 57 Elliot Street. They will receive a ‘punch card’ listing the participating stops, as well as having the opportunity to purchase a commemorative shot glass. Once people have their punch cards, they are free to visit the shops in any order they please.
The crawl is set for March 12. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create the necessary handouts for participants.
