The inaugural Maplecore Fest will be held at the Stone Church in Brattleboro next month.
Saving Vice is headlining the concert, which also features The Lycan, In Shallows, and more groups that are still to be confirmed.
Saving Vice is an independent metalcore band based in Vermont. The current lineup comprises vocalist Tyler Small, drummer Sam Whelton, bassist Alex Chan, and guitarist Robbie Litchfield. The band first got together in 2017 and quickly gained fans throughout New England with their energetic live performances. They are building a national reputation thanks to their blend of nostalgic and current metalcore.
The Lycan is a metalcore outfit out of Albany, New York, that blends nu-metal, heavy metal, and metalcore. They got their start in 2025.
In Shallows is a metalcore band based in New Hampshire. Vocalist Colin Trombley and guitarist Bobby Wharton created the band in 2019 and brought bassist Cam Bostwick and drummer Nick Keane aboard shortly after. They are signed to Bad Wolf Records.
Amora Drowns, Eyes of Apathy, Provenance, and SLOB DROP are among the acts also scheduled to appear.
The heavy metal blowout is set for Sunday, October 18. The Stone Church is located at 210 Main Street, and the doors will open at 1:00 pm. Organizers can enhance events like this by using poster printing to create advertising for them.
