Bob Marley was born in Portland, Maine, went to high school there, and went to college at the University of Maine. Even then, he knew he wanted to be a comedian.
Marley made his dream come true, working in television, film, and radio, making his first appearance on television on Comedy Central. Other television appearances include “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” “The Martin Short Show,” and many others.
He has appeared in the films “The Boondock Saints” and “The Boondock Saints II,” playing the role of Detective Greenly in both. He also appeared in 1999’s “The Breaks,” and in “Liar’s Club,” released in 2001.
On the radio, Marley has guest-hosted several XM Radio channels including Rawdog Comedy, 99, and Blue Collar Radio. In 2013, he appeared weekly in “The World According to Bob” on Coast 93.1-WMGX, a station in Portland.
He has an extensive discography including titles such as “Dude...Don't Be Such a Dink!,” released in 2003, “Maine-iac on the Loose” from 2008 and his latest, “Down One Nut,” from 2015.
A review says:
“Bob had the audience laughing from the time he stepped on stage until the end of the show. . . .”
Bob Marley will be at the Latchis Theatre on October 15. Audiences at events like this enjoy learning about the artists, so organizers of such events often use brochure printing to create programs.
