Seminars on fuel industry come to metro Washington, D.C.

Those who are retailers of fuel will be interested in a six-part Summer Symposium Series that is coming to Alexandria later this month.

Run by the Fuels Institute, the series will have experts from industries in vehicles and fuels to discuss the latest in technology, hot topics in policy, and market research. Those who are contributors to the Fuels Institute and other individuals interested in the topics are invited to attend one or more of the sessions. The Institute is likely to have hired a Print company to create mailers that could be sent out to interested individuals.

‘Fuel Demand, Market Dynamics and Vehicle Market Development’ will be the topic of the first seminar. It will provide insight on what the demand will be for fuel in the future, how customer requirements are being handled by the market, and the types of cars that will be available a decade from now.

Among those presenting at the seminar will be a representative from the United States Energy Information Administration on the Outlook in the Fuels and Vehicles Market, as well as John Eichberger from the Fuels Institute discussing his organization’s “crystal ball”. Tom Kloza from OPIS will talk about oil markets and Scott Shepard from Navigant Research will cover light duty vehicle powertrains through 2025.

The first symposium is on May 25 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City.
