Zombies coming to Cottonwood Heights

Cottonwood Heights residents might want to lock their doors and stay inside, as it has been revealed that zombies will soon be roaming the city.

The Cottonwood Heights Business Association, in association with Revive Sport & Spine, is sponsoring an upcoming Zombie Family Fun Ride.

Dressed in ghoulish ways, participants will ride through the city. They can also stop and learn about their health at a Health & Wellness Expo, and grab a snack from a food truck. Souvenirs including t-shirts will be available as well.

This is the second year for Cottonwood Heights' Zombie Bike Ride. The fun event kicked off last year, suggested by a city staffer who had seen similar rides in other cities.

The event takes place at the Cottonwood Heights City Hall next Monday, June 11. Registration begins at 5:30 pm and the ride itself sets off at 6:00 pm. The activities, including the ride, are scheduled to run from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm, with an awards ceremony at 7:15 pm.

The cost for the event is $10 per person, and families of four pay $25, with another $3 for each additional person in the family. People need register as soon as possible at CHBusiness.org.

Events like this can be even more fun if organizers work with a banner printing company to create creepy but cool Banners to display throughout the city, along the route of the ride.
