An upcoming Cottonwood Heights golf tournament will be held in support of local charitable recreation programs.
The Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Foundation Charity Golf Tournament will take place next month in the neighboring community of Sandy. Funds raised from the tournament will go towards the foundation’s community programs and resources. The non-profit organization offers scholarships and other initiatives for young people, and provides recreational opportunities for families who require financial assistance for program registrations and services.
In addition, through capital investment, the foundation fuels expansion and enhancement of community recreation services and amenities. Foundation funds are raised through individual donations and community events such as the golf tournament.
Golfers will play 18 holes of golf and their tournament entry fees will include breakfast, lunch, on-course snacks, draw entries, contests, and swag bags. Players in the tournament will also have the chance to win sponsor prizes for the longest drive, closest to the pin, and putting competitions.
Businesses that choose to sponsor charitable community events frequently use Print shops to provide logo design services for use in their marketing and promotion.
The 22nd annual Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Foundation Charity Golf Tournament will be held Wednesday, August 26 at the Ridge Golf Course in nearby Sandy. The event will be an 8:00 am shotgun start. Further information is available online.
