Next month’s annual Butlerville Days in Cottonwood Heights will be held a week earlier than usual. The city’s popular community festival will no longer share the same weekend as Pioneer Days, which is a state holiday.
Nonetheless, many of the same family events will be featured during the festival, including a parade, stage entertainment, carnival rides, games and inflatables, craft and business vendors, and a firework and lighted drone show.
The festival will showcase area performers including musicians, dancers, and other acts appropriate for all ages.
A big part of Butlerville Days is the Mayor’s Cup Pickleball Tournament. Men’s, women’s, and mixed teams of all levels will compete in a round-robin knockout competition for two weeks up to and including the festival weekend. Awards will be presented to first to third place winners in each division.
During Butlerville Days, vendors of all kinds, including those selling food and beverages, will be set up behind the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center.

Butlerville Days will be held July 16 to 18 at Butler Park in Cottonwood Heights. The parade will take place on Saturday, July 18 at 5:00 pm. Further information is available on the city website with details updated as event information is confirmed.
