Greyson Chance, a viral singer and songwriter, will perform in a concert near Cottonwood Heights in April. This will take place at The Complex Event Center in Salt Lake City.
Chance is still relatively new to the music scene. His first taste of fame came with a video that went viral on YouTube. In it, the then 13-year-old singer performed Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi at a grade school music festival. In total, this video has gained over 70 million views.
From there, Chance began to release his own music. He first released two original compositions on his own channel. These both gained several million views. After, he released the single Waiting Outside the Lines, which debuted at the No. 12 position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album that followed this, Hold on ‘til the Night, debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard 200.
Since then, Chance has released the EP Somewhere Over My Head and his second full-length album Portraits. Included in these were the singles Afterlife, Hit and Run, Back on the Wall, Shut Up, and Timekeeper.
