A workshop focusing on the use of LiDAR technology is to be held in Cottonwood Heights this October.
The event is titled ´LiDAR Demo Day Workshop´. It will offer participants an introduction to LiDAR technology and its uses in the aviation and robotics industry. The information will focus on topics such as Live Data Capture, and using SLAM systems. The session will also offer ample time for community growth and networking among attendees. The session will also incorporate hands-on learning sessions, with free sample data for professionals present to use.
The event is hosted by Pilot Byte. The institution offers its students a comprehensive introduction to the use and creation of drones, from their programming to their operation. Their classes extend across multiple platforms, including online and in-person technical training. Their courses include drone photogrammetry and private career mentorship. They also partner with robotics giants such as Advexture and RockRobotic for a seamless integration with real-world applications of their course content.
