March book club to discuss inclusivity

The Middle-Grade Book Club will host a celebration of LGBTQ inclusivity in Books for young individuals.

The book for the month of March is called Be Who You Are. Written by Alex Gino, it tells a story of a girl who wants to be a boy. With the help of her friend, she comes up with a plan to let go of her secret and let those around her finally know who she is.

When these book meetings are held, they generally involve talking about the book, engaging in a related activity, and reading the book that was appointed for that month. As a health and safety COVID precaution, both the store individuals and club members will be required to wear masks. Individuals can register for the event on the Under the Umbrella Book Store website. They can also purchase the upcoming month's book at 10% off at the close of each book club meeting.

Handing out corporate gifts is one way that event organizers such as this one can provide different memorabilia for individuals attending the event.

This particular book club event will be taking place on Sunday, March 19 at 1:00 pm. The location will be at Under the Umbrella at 511 W 200 S, Suite 120, Salt Lake City, 84101. Readers from nearby places such as Cottonwood Heights may also be in attending this event.
