Local city puts on St. Patrick's Day race event

The Lucky 13 Half Marathon, 5K, and 10k races will take place in nearby West Jordan this March.

The event will provide runners with participation options that will cater to individuals of all skill levels. Each course will have markings and aid areas.

The Pacer Half Marathon is a unique feature of the event, designed for seasoned runners capable of keeping a consistent speed as the race persists. Participation in the Pacer Half Marathon is by invitation only. Pacers will be group leaders, assisting runners in achieving their preferred finish time. Those participating in the Pacer Half marathon will be charged a higher fee for their registration.

Interested participants can sign up for the event on the day of the race or online through the RunSignUp listing. Prices for the event will vary based on the registration date and the selected course. Early registration options are available and will offer discounted rates to participants. Individuals from the nearby city of Cottonwood Heights are sure to be interested.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in green attire, as the event will coincide with the St. Patrick’s Day weekend. All runners will get a finishing medal and refreshments after the race. Banner printing can be a great way for event organizers to mark the finishing lines running courses.

The run will begin at 1100 W 7800 S, West Jordan on Saturday, March 16. It will continue from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
