Local city has some downtime fun

A club will host a ski event this February in Murray.

The event is the Ski Utah - Cottonwood Canyon, and it gives club members the opportunity to ski from one of four mountain slopes. It offers hotel accommodations, food options, and access to the Cottonwood Canyon, where the head of each slope begins. Attendees may take a bus to the location of their preferred skiing start point. The area is well known for its high altitudes and challenging routes. Participants will also have free transportation to and from the airport.

The event is put on by the Scottsdale Sea and Ski Club. This is a non-profit organization owned and operated by its members. It offers a space for skiing enthusiasts to organize activities such as these and practice their passion for outdoor activities. These also include hiking, biking, and kayaking. The club is open to those 21 years and older. Residents from across the state, including Cottonwood Heights, are welcome to join.

The cost for attending this event will be $345 per person. This includes four nights of room and board in a double occupancy room, a buffet breakfast, and transportation to and from the airport.
