Easter Egg hunt returns to Cottonwood Heights
Children of all ages will be looking high and low next month for chocolate and other sweets at the annual community Easter Egg Hunt in Cottonwood Heights.
Families will not want to miss what will be a full morning of activities, including events in advance of the main egg hunt. Local food trucks will be on hand to provide snacks and beverages to children and their caregivers starting at 9:00 am. Vendors who attend community events such as this tend to use poster printing to highlight their available products.
Balloon artists will entertain the crowd and give out their free creations beginning at 9:30 am, ahead of the much-anticipated visit by the Easter Bunny scheduled for 9:45 am. The egg hunt is set for 10:00 am for all ages, although children will be broken into age-appropriate groups raging from ages 0 to 2, to 10 to 13. Participants are encouraged to arrive in plenty of time to find their group and to bring a container or a basket in which to collect their Easter treats.
The Easter celebration is presented by the Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation department. No admission or registration is required, and the event is free to attend.
The Cottonwood Heights Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 19 in Butler Park at 7500 S. 2700 E.
