Cottonwood Heights to host beginners photography event

Next month, the beginners’ photography class, Getting Out Of Auto/Mastering the Camera, is scheduled to take place in Cottonwood Heights.

The Salt Lake City Photography Group organized this educational class. The organizations hosts a variety of practice sessions and educational classes for photographers in the Salt Lake County Area.

Designed for individuals who are interested in developing photography skills, this beginners’ class will focus on the basics of photography equipment and shooting techniques. Anyone who is interested in participating can book a spot online at a rate of $69 per person.

This three-hour outdoor Cottonwood Heights event will explore key technical topics, including the various focal lengths, utilizing color and white balance, how to set correct photo exposure, the best way to use shutter speed for action shots, depth of field and aperture, and techniques for composition. Flyer printing is a means of creating detailed event-related materials the hosts of similar classes often prefer in order to develop handouts for each participant.

Health precautions that all attendees must follow include to wear facemasks, use a hand sanitizer regularly, and practice social distancing. All participants are asked to only attend the event if they are free of COVID-19 symptoms.

Getting Out Of Auto/Mastering the Camera is set to be hosted in Crestwood Park on Saturday, April 10 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
