Cottonwood club puts on soccer game

A local soccer club will host a game this October.

The event is a part of a series of inter-organizational games. These come courtesy of the Cottonwood Co-Ed Adult Soccer group. This local organization is open to both experienced and novice players alike. Men and women are welcome to experience the thrill of being a part of a team, as they compete with other locals at a similar level.

The team consists of over 140 men and women that are passionate about the sport. Each week the teams are rotated so that each person has the opportunity to play. No players are admitted without first honoring the contribution fee, which goes towards equipment, and basic management of the team's needs.

The group offers residents the opportunity to practice up to three times a week in a safe and amicable environment. The games will not permit dangerous moves that may result in injuries to players. These games are also available all year round, including winter, when indoor futsal replaces regular games.

Patrons may only join this game after registration and subsequent payment. Forms for the process are available on the event's Meetup webpage, and applications will be open quarterly. The games are weekly recurring until December 10.
