Cottonwood Heights is set to host a unique evening of bingo and music called Broadway Bingo. The Utah Voices choral group will perform show tunes while the audience fills out bingo cards with the opportunity to win prizes donated by a variety of sponsors.
Businesses who contribute to events such as this often include Business Cards with their donated items.
In Broadway Bingo, the vocalists will perform songs numbered in relation to the balls pulled from a bingo cage, while guests keep track on their bingo cards.
It is a popular annual event for Utah Voices, who perform a variety of choral concerts each year in communities throughout the Salt Lake Valley. The organization was created by several local people with a love for singing and the choir welcomes anyone with the same passion. Now in its 15th season, the volunteer community group includes singers of all skill levels, from those who have no choral experience to others with considerable training. Members range in age from some in their twenties to retirees. They come from all walks of life and a range of occupations but are connected by their shared mission of making music a priority in their lives and those of their audiences.
Broadway Bingo will be presented Saturday, March 22 at 7:30 pm at the Brighton High School in Cottonwood Heights. Tickets are available online for $15.
