Area set to welcome R&B Legend

R&B artist John Legend will be bringing his latest show to Sandy, a city just a few miles from Cottonwood Heights, this weekend. He will be bringing along KIRBY to join in on the fun.

Legend is the youngest person to ever complete the “EGOT,” meaning he has won at least one Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. His biggest hits include “All of Me” and “Love Me Now.” Now 42, he currently serves as a coach on “The Voice”, alongside Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and newcomer Ariana Grande.

Kirby has written songs for Grande, Kanye West, and others. Her own music got her featured on the Tiny Desk Concert series run by NPR.

There are several VIP packages. The most expensive $499 bundle includes a meet and greet and photo op, a pre-show toast, a garden party invite, exclusive merchandise featuring a graphic design, a laminate, rideshare credit, a reserved ticket in the first five rows, a travel wine glass, an onsite host, and the opportunity to shop at the merch booth before the crowds. General tickets start at $99.50, and there are a variety of options in between that provide some of the perks of the £499 package.

The doors will open at the Sandy Amphitheatre at 6:00 pm, with the show starting at 7:00 pm this Saturday, October 2.
