McKinney welcomes new emergency care room

A new health care facility has opened in McKinney.

A ribbon cutting was held to mark the occasion, with the city’s Chamber of Commerce doing the honors. After that, there was a medical community open house where those who took part had a chance to tour the new center for themselves. The company also made a donation to McKinney Boyd High School.

The next day, an event was held to allow the public to learn more about the facility. There was music provided by the McKinney Boyd High School band. Along with this, radio station 96.3 KSCS was on hand, and handed out tickets to Florida Georgia Line and Billy Bob’s Texas. A banner printing firm can create a variety of custom designed Banners and other decorations that would be ideal for such an event.

The building, which is located at 5000 W. Eldorado Parkway and is open all day, every day. It has a full radiology Suite that includes a CT scanner, ultrasound, digital x-ray and an on site lab. It is staffed by board certified doctors who are supported by a team of registered nurses with training in emergency medicine. It is equipped to handle both paediatric and adult patients, and is part of the First Choice Emergency Room network of facilities, which is the largest and oldest of its kind in the country.
