Spring can be a great time of the year to get acquainted with the fun of camping, and a McKinney program will help local families to do just that.
One of the Heard Museum’s programs is a springtime schedule for family campouts, and these activities have been planned for dates in March, April and June. They are for families with kids from the ages of 5 to 12, and at least one adult must be on hand at all times for every four minors.
Both the kids and adults at the outing will engage in team building, as well as an opportunity to learn about Texas wildlife. Everyone can try their hand at making s’mores, and a dinner of lemonade and pizza will be provided. Families will need to supply their own gear, and lights out is set for 10:00 pm.
Parents are often on the lookout for some family-friendly fun, and may appreciate receiving updates about what is on offer in their own town. Community guides and other publications can be prepared by Stationery printers that offer binding services.
This chance to experience the fun of a campout without having to go far will be offered on March 9, April 6, and June 1, all of which are Saturdays. They will all start at 5:00 pm at 1 Nature Place in McKinney.
