McKinney marks July 4th with community celebration
McKinney will be celebrating the nation's birthday with an event that will have fun for all ages, and the festivities will be capped off with a huge fireworks display.
The city will be the place to be for those looking for fun for their Fourth of July. Many of the scheduled events will take place downtown, and while they explore everything on offer, the participants are reminded to stop in and show some love to local small businesses.
The plans for the day include a parade with a variety of entries, and the area’s corporate and not-for-profit community have already signed on to be part of the procession. The Yankee Doodle Block Party will follow, and in the evening, the McKinney Soccer Complex will host live music, fun for the kids, food vendors, and a fireworks display. There is lots of free parking, and all of the activities will be offered at no cost to the public.
Summer is often a great time for an outdoor celebration, and print shops can provide banner printing and other services that may be helpful to event organizers. Many of its products may be budget friendly, and it will be able to offer helpful tips and advice.
McKinney will be marking July 4 with Red, White and Boom. The city’s website has the most current details about the function and where the various activities will be held.
