Pickleball players and pickle lovers in Grand Prairie are in for a treat next month, as a pickleball expo and pickle festival are in the works in town.
The Pickle Fest 2025, organized by the Grand Prairie Parks, Arts, and Recreation department, is preparing to open its doors to interested parties who want to sample different pickle options from attending vendors while getting games of pickleball in. Attendees can expect a day filled with fun, flavors, and friends in a safe and welcoming environment.
Organizers have received commitments from over 80 vendors showcasing everything from pickle-flavored snowcones and specialty pickles to pickleball equipment. The festival will be built around a pop-up pickleball tournament. A live DJ will provide the background tunes for the shopping and playing experience. Business card printing is an excellent way to prepare for such events when working as a vendor and attempting to build brand awareness.
The festival will be a family-friendly event featuring a space dedicated to kids in attendance. The Kid Zone will have a bounce house and a petting zoo for family memories. Beer and food vendors will also attend to provide refreshments and fresh bites.
The pickle festival and pickleball competition will be held in downtown Grand Prairie on Saturday, September 6th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Admission and parking are free.
