Grand Prairie hosts day of food and fun for all

Residents of Grand Prairie may wish to set time aside for an exciting, family-friendly event.

Pickle Fest will be taking place in the city and hosts a wide variety of general and pickle-themed activities. Those attending the event can look forward to food and drink vendors, contests, and live music. There will also be activities specifically geared towards younger attendees.

Themed events such as this often see a variety of vendors with similar items for sale. For such vendors, graphic design may be a consideration when it comes to finding a way to be memorable in their specific niche.

Pickle Fest will have events and activities for everyone, so even those who may not enjoy the food items can still find something exciting. Some of the fun on offer will include open-play pickleball, as well as a tournament, carnival rides, and a petting zoo and bounce houses in the Kid Zone. Those interested are encouraged to sign up for the various contests that will be taking place, including pickle eating, pickle juice drinking, and a costume contest.

The event will be taking place on Saturday, September 5 in Downtown Grand Prairie, specifically around City Hall, located at 300 W. Main St. The day’s festivities will begin at 10:00 am and conclude at 2:00 pm. There will be no charge for admission or parking at the event.
