A pizza-themed celebration for all ages will be coming to EpicCentral in Grand Prairie this April.
The Dallas Pizza Fest is an annual event where pizza lovers can take part in themed activities and try slices from several participating food vendors. Guests can try pizza from businesses such as South Polk Pizza, The Factory Kitchen, Chubby Boy’s Pizzeria, and Three Smiths Pizza. Attendees will also get to enjoy live performances at the venue’s two concert stages, and there will be a carnival with many amusement rides. Adults can relax at the fest’s wine and beer garden.
One of the main activities that will be held at the festival is a pizza-eating contest. Competitors will see who can eat a large pepperoni pizza the fastest. Those who place in the top three spots will receive a cash prize. The first-place prize is $200. All ages are allowed to enter the contest, and there will be several time slots available for those interested in participating. The cost to enter the pizza-eating contest is $20 per person.
The Dallas Pizza Fest will be held on Sunday, April 26th and will take place from noon to 8:00 pm. There is no cost to enter the festival, though people can register for their free tickets online in advance.
