Aspiring party hosts and bartenders will be stirred into taking notice as a mixology course comes to the Galveston area, offering knowledge and tips.
The Mixology Class Series at The San Luis Resort is scheduled to begin its first of three teaching sessions in a few weeks. Area residents are encouraged to register to learn tips for making tasty cocktails. The course will take place in a relaxing setting with ocean views, and instructors will guide participants toward making professional cocktails.
The instructors will offer tips and techniques to ensure attendees create drinks that look impressive and that provide a refreshing experience. Guests will enjoy access to hors d'oeuvres to remain refreshed throughout the learning experience. The snacks will complement the drinks made throughout the afternoon. Attendees can expect to leave the course knowing how to balance flavors and work with unique ingredients to make cocktails at home or in a bar setting. The focus of the course will be an Island Getaway Rum. All registered guests must be 21 or older.
The San Luis Resort will host the mixology course on Saturday, June 22, beginning at 4:00 PM. Tickets are available online starting at $25 per person, and sales are non-refundable.
