Galveston forum to celebrate local business

The Galveston Juneteenth Freedom to Thrive Small Business Forum will be holding its fifth annual event this June, aiming to promote local small enterprises.

The forum focuses on building economic opportunity and specifically minority-owned businesses. It is scheduled to commemorate the Juneteenth holiday which originated in Galveston and is now nationally recognized. The event will include panels based on topics like government and corporate procurement, access to capital, and professional leadership and legacy.

The Forum area will also include a resource fair for small businesses, featuring vendors, education, and services aimed at emerging entrepreneurs. There will also be training and development resources for non-profit organizers. Attendees of events like this often use resume an business card printing to ensure that they are prepared for networking.

The Forum is hosted by the Success In Business organization as a community celebration of economic freedom. Exhibitors and vendors will be selected through an online application process to highlight the best of local businesses and services. Advertising for the Forum claims:

“Whether you're a startup, an established business, or exploring government contracting and corporate partnerships, this forum offers the tools, community, and inspiration to thrive in today’s evolving business landscape.”

The 2026 edition of the Galveston Juneteenth Freedom to Thrive Small Business Forum will take place on June 18 at the Old Central Cultural Center.
