Houston Booster Club will hold its second annual and Scholarship Banquet in early October. The mission of the Houston Booster Club is to provide financial support to organizations impacting future leaders and scholarships for local student athletes.
The Galveston Professional Athletes Scholarship Golf Classic will have a four-person scramble format with a shotgun start. Contests will include Closest to the Pin, Longest Drivee, and Best Dressed Team.
Individual registration will be $125. The $1,000 Hole Sponsor level includes a foursome entry, one hole sign, company and Logo Design on event website, signage, and company name on event materials and promotions. The $2,500 Gold Sponsor level will add one more foursome entry and an award given out at the luncheon.
The next sponsor level is the Platinum $3,500, which adds one more team entry and an eye-catching position on the printed materials. The highest level will be the $5,000 Title Sponsor, which will add yet another team entry (four in all), two hole Signs and exclusive showcase of company name on all event printed material.
The Golf Classic will take place October 9 from 8:00 am until noon at the Galveston Country Club, 14228 Stewart Road.
At 4:00 pm, Tin Cup’s Caddy Shack, 9020 Stewart Road, will hold the GPA Scholarship Banquet. Along with scholarships presented to local athletes, the event will feature a silent auction and live music. Admission will be $25.
