Ironman scheduled for November

The Galveston Memorial Herman Ironman 70.3 Texas has been scheduled for the end of November.

Individual entry registration is still available for tiers 3 at $300 and 4 at $325. Tier 2 at $400 is available for relay entries. Fundraising entry options will be a community fund for $600 and there is no entry fee for Team IMF Fundraisers.

The 56-mile bike ride will be on a relatively flat course beginning at the West Parking lot at Moody Gardens over the San Luis Pass and back, and the 1.2-mile swim will take place in Offitts Bayou. The 13.1-mile run will be on a flat course along the coastline of the Gulf of Mexico.

Live entertainment including local bands and cheerleaders will be positioned along the routes to encourage participants.

Ironman participants will receive finisher medals with the Ironman 70.3 Logo Design, hats, sling Bags, tech shirts, and luggage tags. Finisher certificates, age group awards, timed race results, postrace food, and massages will be available after the race. There will be a Celebration Day and Awards Banquet later that evening. Virtual participation is also available.

Spectators can opt for the VIP Experience, which will include special viewing areas, breakfast, refreshments, lunch, and access to charging stations and VIP portos.

The Memorial Hermann IRONMAN 70.3 Texas will take place on Sunday, November 22.
