A walking tour is planned for Galveston residents and visitors, offering an opportunity to explore the city’s history through its most famous sites.
The Broadway Beauties Walking Tour will start in a few weeks. It will take guests through town to explore historic homes, buildings, and sites, sharing the culture of Galveston. The tour will teach attendees about the families who helped to make Galveston the town it is today.
The tour will also focus on the small group of architects who designed and built these historic buildings and homes in the area. Famous local homes like the Moody Mansion and Bishop’s Palace will be focal points of the walking tour. Guests will learn about the hidden gems from the tour guide as they get a feel for the intimate history of the area.
