For an Easter day treat, local families can enjoy a buffet plus an egg hunt and other free activities.
The event will be ‘Easter in the Gardens’, and will be free to take part in with hunts scheduled throughout the day.
Children under the age of 10 will be searching for those hidden colored eggs. They will especially want to find the golden eggs that will contain special prizes. Other activities will be available for everyone, such as games with prizes, face painting, and a petting zoo. The Easter Bunny will be making his final 2016 appearance at this event. Copies of a picture of him and your child will make great Easter Holiday Cards for next year.
The event is scheduled for March 27 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at Moody Gardens, 7 Hope Blvd. Galveston. Egg Hunts for children zero to two years of age will start at 11:30 am and 2:00 pm. Parents may accompany these little ones. Ages three through five will get to hunt at 12:00 pm and 2:30 pm. Children ages six to nine will be able to hunt at 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm.
