Yoga with a twist in Friendswood

A yoga session in Friendswood has an added element—goats.

Goat Yoga Houston is holding a session at Center Court Pizza & Brew, a venue it has visited before. Pygmy kids will be free to roam during the class, and hop on attendees.

Everyone is welcome to come to the session, but organizers note it might not be suitable for children younger than nine, or physically smaller youngsters. Everyone is responsible for their own wellbeing, and parents are expected to watch their children.

The class is outside, so people should dress appropriately for the weather. In case of rain the event will be cancelled, and attendees will receive a credit they can use on another date. There are no refunds, and anyone more than ten minutes late will forfeit their ticket and not be admitted. In addition, everyone must sign a liability waiver. Events like this are great places for people who enjoy the same activity to exchange Business Cards.

Attendees are asked to bring sunscreen, bug spray, water, and any other items they have that will help them enjoy the experience. Goat Yoga has many of these items on hand, but cannot guarantee they will be available. If attendees do not have yoga mats, they can rent them for $5. Finally, participants should be aware that goats have sharp hooves, so T-Shirts are advised.

The yoga session is February 11 beginning at 1:00 pm. Center Court Pizza & Brew is located at 2111 West Parkwood Avenue, #117.
