A Houston-based party and wedding band that plays the hits of the 70s, 80s, and 90s will be at Birraporetti’s in Friendswood soon.
Timeless HTX is the brainchild of Ivy and Paul Kreuzer, who have been married for over 35 years and wanted to ensure others started their relationship with entertainment and music that carried that same happiness. Their personal relationship became the genesis of Timeless HTX Band.
Ivy is a pianist who is classically trained, and Paul has extensive experience both in the recording studio and on stage. He has performed with stars such as Charo, Trace Adkins, Charlie Daniels, Merle Haggard, Faith Hill, and Tim McGraw, and has appeared on the CMT and TNN television networks. He has also worked with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines on sailings to both Europe and the Caribbean.
Paul recorded original songs with Memphis Exchange, his former band, in 1996. Scott Joss, fiddle player for Dwight Yoakum, appeared on the album, as did music legend Huey Lewis, of Huey Lewis and the News. Paul’s voice has been likened to Sammy Hagar, Bob Carlisle, Lou Gramm, and Steve Perry.
The Kreuzers have operated their own facility, the Kreuzer Music Studio, since 1990, where they provide instruction to students of every age. Timeless HTX will be at Birraporetti’s on January 10. When they plan events like this, organizers can work with flyer printing to create handouts, which provide an economical way to advertise in the local area.
