Yoga for a cause in Friendswood

People in Friendswood have a chance to practice yoga and support animals at the same time.

The upcoming Puppy & Kitten Yoga class will give those who missed the first session a chance to get into the second class. Needless to say, puppies and kittens will not be practicing yoga, but adorable baby animals will be present to give participants kitty kisses and puppy cuddles.

Half the profits from the event will go to support Lifeline of Galveston County, which has also provided a list of needed items. People who are going to Puppy & Kitten Yoga have a chance to donate. Lifeline is looking for bottles for kittens and puppies, formula, heating pads, toys, collars and leashes, litter, litter Boxes, cat carriers, pet beds, cardboard, newspapers, pet bowls, canned and dry dog and puppy or kitten food, sheets, towels, and just about anything a fur baby needs to be happy and healthy is on the list.

Sundance Yoga in Friendswood is sponsoring the event, and opening their studio for the class. The class is set for August 13, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The studio is located at 128 S Friendswood Drive in Friendswood. Tickets are $10, and are likely to sell quickly. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create promotional handouts, which also list the desired items.
