An upcoming yoga session will help support the Lifeline of Galveston County, and promises an overload of cuteness as well.

Kitten & Puppy Yoga is unlike any other yoga class, as kittens and puppies are allowed to wander freely during the session. Attendees can expect several occurrences during the event, which will be led by knowledgeable instructors and is suitable for people at all levels of yoga experience.

First, they will enjoy a peaceful session that offers therapeutic benefits, and second, they will be surrounded with adorable puppies and kittens. People are encouraged to interact with the babies, who are sure to evoke a chorus of appreciation from yogis. In addition, having the little animals around is believed to help relieve stress, as they are a positive, affectionate presence. People are encouraged to take photos and share their experiences on social media.

Kitten & Puppy Yoga is perfect for yoga practitioners, animal lovers, or anyone searching for something unusual to enjoy. All monies raised by the class will go to local animal rescue organizations and animal shelters, particularly Lifeline. Donations in-kind will be gratefully accepted, and the list includes cat carriers, cat litter and litter Boxes, dog and cat food, and similar items.

The yoga class is this Sunday, December 3, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, at 128 South Friendswood Drive. Tickets are $15.00. When events like this are scheduled, organizers can use flyer printing to create handouts to advertise them.
