Santa on his way to Friendswood

Friendswood is preparing for its biggest event of the year for the holidays. The 12th Annual Santa in the Park will take place in December and is filled with fun for children and adults.

A whooping 40,000lb of snow will be brought in so Santa and his team of reindeer can arrive in style and get ready for pictures with the visitors. The Chamber of Commerce organizes a spectacular parade with a grand conclusion of lighting of a 20-foot Christmas tree completed decorated.

HomeTown Bank is the title sponsor this season. Sponsors are recognized on signage and Posters, while poster printing can be done utilizing local printing services. The graphic design can be printed in vibrant, highly visible colors and images highlighting sponsors for events.

Food vendors, along with a holiday craft market, will be part of the fun for the day. Banner printing is a useful tool for participants having a booth or designated space to feature their products. Interested parties may contact the Parks and Recreation Department to inquire or reserve space.

Amusement rides will be open for the children. The cost is $10 and a wristband will be provided. Face painting, live entertainment, and music will add extra fun for all.

The Santa in the Park event will take place in Stevenson Park on December 14 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. More information is available via the event website.
