Sale in Friendswood offers three days of bargains

An upcoming community sale in Friendswood is so big it will take place over three days.

The Heritage Gardeners in Friendswood are organizing the upcoming Annual Indoor & Outdoor Yard Sale. They are pricing hundreds of items that offer something for everyone. The sale will include household items for each room, decorative décor items, linens, plants, electronics, furniture, crafts, toys and jewelry. Clothing for men, women, and children will also be available.

In an amusing twist, one of the schools in the Friendswood Independent School District has given the items in their lost and found to the sale organizers. This will enable parents coming to the sale to buy back the hoodies, T-Shirts, water bottles, lunch Boxes, and other items their children lost. Organizers of events like this will often work with flyer printing to create a handout for shoppers.

Heritage Gardeners Inc. is a non-profit organization that offers Master Gardener programs that are free and open to the public. They also sponsor a Junior Master Gardener Program that has won awards from the State of Texas. They support civic activities, events, and projects, and offer two scholarships worth $1,000 each. They also organize two annual tours, the Spring Garden Tour held in April, and November’s Christmas Home Tour.

The sale is scheduled for August 1-3, at the clubhouse, 112 West Spreading Oaks. The location is behind the public library. Organizers ask people not to make any more donations as the clubhouse is full.
