A tribute artist who performs several different shows will return to Friendswood soon.
Vince King is a multi-award winner who is best known for his work as an Elvis impersonator. This seems inevitable since King bears a strong physical resemblance to the late entertainer. He has either won or ranked high in many Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA) competitions, and in 2013, was named Grand Champion at the EP Expo. King is superb as Elvis because he has mastered Elvis’s mannerisms, moves, and both the charisma and almost mystical connection “The King” shared with his fans.
He has been performing as Elvis for more than 18 years, traveling throughout the area and across the world, sometimes as a solo act, or sometimes with his backing outfit, the Vegas Mafia Band.
Although he is probably best known as Elvis, King also has other shows including a Christmas show, an Elvis gospel show, and HOMEGROWN, a tribute to the Zac Brown Band. When he comes to Friendswood, King will be performing still another show, his Vegas Revue. Elvis spent seven years in Las Vegas in residency at the Westgate, but he is not the only artist King shares in this performance. He also performs works of Engelbert Humperdinck, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and others who performed on the “Strip.”
Vince King will be at Birraporetti’s in Friendswood on January 28. When they plan events like this, organizers will often use poster printing to devise appropriate advertising.
