Locals invited to help keep Friendswood beautiful

The annual Fall Haul will take place in coming months in Friendswood. This provides an opportunity for residents to clean up their yards, homes, garages, and nearby community in a fun and productive manner.

Truck-loads of grass, tree branches and leaves, old furniture, metal, wood, and appliances are typically part of the haul. All items can be taken to the Centennial Park located at 2200 South Friendswood Drive and left for disposal.

In addition to the dumping site, there will be the Keep Friendswood Beautiful garage sale. Household items excluding clothing can be included in the sale. Pet supplies such as dog kennels, cat carriers, aquariums, bowls, and blankets are in need. Shallow bowls are also handy for rehabilitation of wildlife.

Oftentimes, poster printing is used to create communication tools to advertise upcoming events such as garage sales and community activities. The Posters can be printed in full color in any size desired and mounted on walls, fences, poles, in windows and at the activity venue. Local printing services can assist with the design and production of event posters that will catch the eye.

The Annual Friendswood Fall Haul, along with the garage sale, will take place November 10, from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm. The City of Friendswood Parks and Recreation Department has full information about the event and can answer any questions. Call 281-996-3220.
