The 8th Annual Houston Latin Fest is coming to the region before the end of the month and Friendswood residents are looking forward to attending.
The event is a family-friendly festival that provides the opportunity for surrounding communities to gather together and enjoy live entertainment while they celebrate Latin heritage. The festival is designed to help promote diversity among generations and the general population and maintain unity.
In addition to the live music, there will be authentic cuisine for all to enjoy. The cuisine creations will represent North, South, Central, and Caribbean ethnic-style food. Art and crafts along with other items will be offered by vendors and small businesses. The festival presents a forum to extend marketing efforts for the Latin market and create brand awareness.
Promotional products are often given out by vendors at festivals. The products contain the logo and contact information of the business or vendor. Tote Bags, water bottles, and other useful products are available from local printing services.
Sponsorship opportunities are available with several packages that include marketing options. They can be customized for each participating sponsor.
The event will take place in Midtown Park on Sunday, September 26. The park is located at 2811 Travis St. Advance purchase tickets are $10, and children under 12 years old are free. Tickets may be purchased on the event website. For more information, call 832-422-8936.
