Gala planned in Friendswood

A local chamber of commerce is throwing a gala in Friendswood, inviting everyone who wants to listen to music while they enjoy delicious food and drink.

The South Belt-Ellington Chamber of Commerce is the chamber for the South Belt-Ellington neighborhood, which is about 20 miles from the center of Houston. The organization is presenting its yearly gala with the theme “Let’s Tickle the Ivories.” This two-hour performance is a musical treat featuring dueling pianos and music from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.

The Two Tone Dueling Piano Bar is a fun place where pianists create an interactive performance comprising sing-alongs, audience requests, and a lively atmosphere. The pianists have an extensive repertoire which ensures that there will be a variety of music; literally something for everyone.

The bar now sends its pianists on the road, with the To-Go Dueling Piano Show taking the performance from its usual setting in the bar, and giving it directly to events such as weddings, corporate functions, house parties, or a gala, as it is here.

Houston’s mayor, the Honorable John Whitmire, is the speaker for the event, which will take place on March 8, from 5.30pm until 10.00pm. The venue is the Hope Village Event Center at 15403 Hope Village Road in Friendswood. When events like this are arranged, organizers will often work with poster printing to create suitable advertising for the occasion.
