The Lone Star state pride will be on display in Friendswood at the senior citizen Go Texas Luncheon. Guests are encouraged to dress in Western attire and kick up their cowboy boots for this special activity.
The luncheon is hosted by the City of Friendswood Parks and Recreation and takes place in the Friendswood Activity Building. The luncheon will consist of the authentic and tasty BBQ food so famous in Texas. Games and activities will be part of the fun, with a lot of prizes available. Sponsor opportunities are available. Poster printing is a task performed by local printing services for activities of this nature. Posters can have the event information printed along with vibrant images to attract attention and assist with questions, directions, and schedules. They can be placed on easels or hung.
The Go Texan Luncheon will take place on February 27 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The building is located at 416 Morningside Dr. Bus service may be scheduled a day ahead of the event and is available to seniors 50 years of age or older in Friendswood. Town residents are free; non-residents may pay $25 annually.
