The local AARP will present a virtual seminar for Friendswood residents that discusses Medicare options available to qualified residents approaching the age of 65.
The event will take place on August 31 online. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and look at various programs available. As citizens turn 65, a new life chapter opens. Finding appropriate healthcare coverage can be confusing, so the scheduled program will help qualified people to make decisions in an informed manner as they embark on this new part of life.
The presentation is designed to provide methods and information to consider as people approach eligibility as they near 65 years of age. The goal of the seminar is to explore various scenarios and plans and find one that fits individual and specific needs.
Often, local Print shops are contacted to assist with promoting presentations, as even when taking place virtually, it is important to ensure people know about them. Graphic design can also play a role when hosting events online.
General topics covered in this online event will include examining original Medicare, Medigap, Part D, and Medicare Advantage. The audience may submit questions at any time during the seminar.
The AARP hosted seminar will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Registration may be handled online through the AARP website. Attendance is free, and further questions may be sent to aarpprograms@aarp.org.
