While many communities are running through the last details of their Halloween planning, the City of Friendswood is now accepting booth and sponsor applications for its Santa in the Park event, which is held each year in the beginning of December.
This year’s event will be the 10th annual celebration, and the city is promising entertainment, photos with Santa, carnival rides, a Concert in the Park, and a holiday market. The event concludes with the lighting of a 20-foot tree, decorated and provided by HomeTown Bank, along with a fireworks display. Previous events have brought thousands of attendants.
Companies and individuals have many options for participating in donation, according to information on the city’s website. Options include name recognition on the snow slide, name recognition at the Carnival, Banners on the video wall, or sponsorship banners at the Santa booth and in the app.
Volunteers and staff will be wearing custom designed T-Shirts that will display sponsor’s Logo Design and other information. Companies can also use banners and promotional products to connect with customers at the event.
The event will take place on December 9 at 3:00 pm in Stevenson Park. Sponsorship Forms should be completed by October 16. For more information, contact the Parks & Recreation Department. Thousands of attendees are expected, meaning the department considers this a great opportunity for local businesses.
