It is time to get outside and enjoy music in Friendswood as a new concert is heading to town next month.

The City of Friendswood Parks and Recreation Department is hosting an upcoming Concert in the Park featuring the Timeless HTX Band. The band is a corporate event band based in Houston. Their composition changes according to the needs of their customers.

The band members have a wide knowledge of musical styles of all kinds and have been described as having musicians and vocalists of “L.A. recording session” talent. They perform the songs of the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, up to today’s hits. The band’s frontman, Paul Kreuzer, has worked in various musical genres including country, Latin, Motown, pop, and rock.

He has also worked with stars in those genres, including George Strait, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, The Coasters, and others. In 1996, he recorded an album called “Pictures of Life” as the frontman of Memphis Exchange, a country band. The album featured none other than Huey Lewis playing harmonica.

The Timeless HTX Band will be at Stevenson Park, 1054 South Friendswood Drive, on May 9, at 7.00 pm. People are welcome to bring refreshments, lawn chairs, and blankets, relax and enjoy an evening of music and fun. Door prizes are awarded at the concerts, and anyone who would like to donate one should contact the Recreation Department. In addition, when organizers schedule concerts like this, they may decide to use brochure printing to create programs so audiences can learn more about the artists.
