Entering garden gates at Friendswood

The 2020 Friendswood Spring Garden Tour is coming to Friendswood. The Heritage Gardeners Garden Club will present the much-anticipated event.

Tickets include a private garden tour with the opportunity to visit the spring shopping market. Passing through the Briscoe Gardens provides viewing of beautiful plants and bushes. Presentation and special speakers focusing on gardening will also be part of the day’s activities. A giant plant sale will be available along with raffle prizes.

Residents who would like to be part of the event by showing their beautiful yards or special vegetable or flower gardens may apply by calling 281-992-4438.

Heritage Gardens started with a small group that met in homes starting in 1966. Property was donated by Cecil Brown, Sr., a Friendswood community founder, and developed from that point.

Poster printing, using a local printing service, can create vibrant signage to highlight features of the tour. Using full color imaging and bold font will attract attention and enhance interest.

The 2020 Friendswood Spring Garden Tour will take place on April 25 and 26. The gates will open at 1:00 p.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. Tickets will be made available from members of the garden club as well as the Chamber of Commerce and other participating businesses. The starting point for the tour will be at the Marie Workman Garden Center located at 112 W Spreading Oaks.
