The 2020 Friendswood Walk in the Park 2: Expedition will be a highlight of the summer for Friendswood residents and visitors. The experience brings fun for all ages as it features Pokémon Go as a theme.
The public event benefits the Friendswood Animal Advocates by gathering food, supplies, and monetary donations. A trading post will be set up for donation drop-off. Kids will enjoy the Pokémon statues placed in various habitats. Other fun activities will include food trucks, photo booths, and some gym leaders.
Fun challenges will include battling, trivia, and scavenger hunts. The challenges take place throughout the day, hosted by gym leaders. Trainers competing in the challenges will receive special badges.
The main stage will present prizes for adults and children for the buddy walk challenge. A raffle will be held, as well.

Ticket purchase includes a collectible wristband with Pokémon featured along with a poster that was created by a local artisan. Presale tickets include a T-shirt and are priced at $15.
