Finch to land in Mockingbird Station
Mockingbird Station is getting a new tenant, with a new restaurant moving in where Café Express used to be located.
The Finch is the product of Milkshake Concepts, the same team that gave Dallas and nearby cities Vidorra, Dirty Bones, Stirr, Harper’s, Citizen, and Serious Pizza.
Construction will commence at #150 at 5307 E. Mockingbird Lane in the fall. The 5,760-square-foot anchor restaurant has a spring 2022 opening planned. Once in operation, Finch will be serving lunch, dinner and brunch, and in addition to interior seating will offer patrons patio seating and valet service.
The use of banner printing services helps new business announce themselves and raise public interest while still under construction.
According to co-founder and CEO of Milkshake Concepts, Imran Sheikh, the menu will include food with a broad appeal such as pastas, pizzas, grilled fish and meats, soups and salads, and a raw bar featuring snow crab, yellowfin crudo, and oysters.
Other options include Tuna Tataki, Fungi Risotto, Dry Aged Beef Sliders, and Cioppino Style Seabass. Among the drinks available at The Finch will be unique cocktails created by the Milkshake beverage team, and what is promised by them to be a one-of-a-kind wine program.
The Finch at Mockingbird Station will be the first location, with a second location in Grand Prairie’s Epic Center development expected to open in 2022.
