The 2026 America’s Best Cities report finds Dallas climbing above the No. 14 and No. 16 spots it held in 2025 and 2024 respectively to break into the top 10 and claim the No. 8 position.
The America’s Best Cities report was conducted by Resonance Consultancy, a tourism and real estate marketing firm based in Canada. As it does it each year the report ranks the cultural “lovability”, livability and economic prosperity of metropolitan populations of at least 500,000.
Brochure printing services can have considerable influence on the success of a business or even a city.
This year, rather than profiling every one of the 393 individual cities, as had been done in the past, the 2026 report focuses on prosperity at the state and regional levels.
At No. 8 on the list Dallas is the Lone Star State’s highest-ranking city; however, other Texas cities were in the top 25. Houston, Austin and San Antonio took the 9th, 11th and 24th spots respectively. Only Florida exceeded Texas when it came to economic supremacy.
Dallas was named among the best places for starting a career or business earlier this year and has seen significant improvements in its education, touris, and housing growth.
At the top of the Best Cities in America list was New York, followed by Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami with San Francisco coming in at No. 5.
