Invasion of sandwich eatery eminent for Dallas

Snarf’s Sandwiches, has made its first foray into the Dallas market earlier this month at 2337 W. Mockingbird Lane, and the sandwich shop chain has plans to open four more stores over the next few months.

The Boulder, Colorado-based chain is named for founder Jimmy “Snarf” Seidel, and its oven-toasted sandwiches and in-your-face, quirky personality has built up a cult-like following. Launched in 1996, the company developed a loyal following for its made-to-order sandwiches featuring signature bread and giardiniera pepper proprietary blend.

Restaurant openings offer numerous opportunities for local Print shops, including menu, flyer, and banner printing.

Sandwiches are available in almost two dozen options and cost $13 to $18; they can be ordered in 7-inch or 12-inch sizes. Soups and entrée-sized salads are also on the menu with salads including tuna salad, a Greek salad, chicken salad, and Cobb salad, as well as sides such as coleslaw and potato salad, with cookies for a dessert option.

The Mockingbird Lane location that recently opened offers dine-in, takeout, catering, and online ordering. A Snider Plaza location is expected to open in late December with three other locations – Lakewood Shopping Center, Preston Hollow, and Pavillion North – set to open in early 2026.

The chain is closing in on having 50 locations spread out through Colorado, Missouri, and Texas, which includes Austin.
